Online Learning Program Activities & Events
Early childhood education is the cornerstone of any child's upbringing as it is the time when a child will learn about literature, science, math and the world at large. Education is such a crucial aspect of modern life. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic, schools were ordered to close temporarily since March 2020, to protect our students, teachers and staff against the pandemic.
As a result, Lollypop Preschool has conducted home-based learning programs to continue in providing the best quality education to all children.
Our teachers were still able to do fun and engaging activities to the children despite some limitations in the online teaching and learning platform. Take a look at our virtual IEYC activities and events that have made home-based learning fun! Indeed we can say that the pandemic cannot stop us in achieving our school's vision and mission.
United Nations Day Celebration
We are each other's Harvest, We are each other's Business, We are each other's Magnitude and Bond, - Gwendolyn Brooks
United Nations Day Celebration is one of the events that Lollypop Preschool and Sekolah Lentera Kasih celebrates every year.
Visiting all seven continents in our world is no easy task. However, all the levels visited all seven continents (virtually) and performed by dancing, singing, and playing an instrument with their chosen costume from different countries.
Thank you students and teachers for making our virtual United Nations Day a memorable event for all of us. Students, we are so proud to see your excitement to be involved in this event.
Tari Kreasi - Gembira Berkumpul
Today's cuteness courtesy of our Avocado students showing off their creative dance movements. We are so happy to see you moving around and dancing. Movement allows children to develop their critical thinking skills and self-awareness.
So, what are you waiting for? Let's dance!
Pam & Sam Poem by Avocado Preparatory Students
Get your horn's ready and let's recite the Pam & Sam poem! Phonics is the study of sound or a method of teaching reading. Here's our Avocado section students reciting the Pam & Sam poem. Reciting the beautiful poem helps the child sound out words while learning to read.
Let's hear it!
A humbling video of our students saying their morning prayers. At Lollypop Preschool, we encourage our students to be thankful and grateful for things, actions, and the people that they encounter. Have a blessed day to all of you from our Lollypop Prechool Students.
Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da, la la, how life goes on! Preparatory Students singing a famous Beatle song that is simply irresistable! Did you see our students using spoons, cups, and water container as their substitute percussion instrument? Our students finding creative ways using instruments that they have at home.
Creative Movement Project - Preparatory Students
Creative movement is a joyful way of children to explore movement through music, develop their physical skills, and channel their energies. Through movement children learn about their bodies, the space around them, and each other. Our students and teachers had a chance to show their dance moves! Wasn't that fun?
We come together as one team.
From all the branches of Lollypop Preschool and Sekolah Lentera Kasih.
May God bless you all!
